Katy ISD students win big at VASE awards

Over 35 Katy ISD students were awarded State Medallions at the Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE), which was held in April. VASE gives students the opportunity to have artwork created in their art classes judged by certfied judges. In addition to the 36 students who received state medallions, four students won the Gold Seal of Excellence award as well.
